My name is Pete. People were so cheerful when 2020 started. They all said the world would be a better place in this decade. But who could say what we would find in the end? Hearing her talk about her boyfriend, I ask without thinking.

"How about your relationship with him now? Is everything fine?" "Well, maybe it's because of the distance. I think our relationship isn't good anymore. And maybe we're drifting apart slowly," she said.
