Re: Lurker's Lair
I tweaked The Castle a bit. I disabled the west bastion's door and button since once the thing's open, it's just a visual obstruction and the button does nothing. I put a conduit just above the doorway in the door's place so I could get a power line through it without having a connector in the doorway itself.
I found out it's possible to assign guards without a guard post if you use the Vault-Tec computer. Apparently The Castle will automatically give 2 posts worth of assignments per settler, as I had 5 and the defense increased by 20, and since a guard post is 2 per post that's 4 points, or 2 posts, per settler it assigned.
I also had some fun with screwing with artillery.

I screwed with bandits, spiders, dragons, and other nasty enemies around Skyrim.

Since I'm done with the Minutemen now for the time being, I think I'm finally gonna get started on going through the main story the next time I play, or getting the expansion stuff outta the way 1st. I'm not entirely sure yet.

Re: Lurker's Lair
I decided to do the expansion stuff 1st. I figured I might as well have all the settlement stuff unlocked before I end up getting more of them so I can set them up how I want when I get them instead of having to come back later.
So far, I got through the Automatron stuff.

Re: Lurker's Lair
Ok my friends! I've paid for the forum for a year!! And I can monetize it for my business. So, we ain't goin' anywhere! I still need to send out bulk mail to the HoT members and then on the 32 that site will be shut down. I'll be over here soon. I've been taking a ton of screens of Animal Crossing and will be working on the forum when I get them off from the Switch. I still have to learn how to do that. For any Sims players, Animal Crossing is a MUST!!! If you don't have a Switch, get one if you can! It's worth every penny!!

I still need to look at New Horizons once I'm done with some of the current games I'm going through. It's just a matter of being able to have time for it, so I'm not in a rush. However, I've heard how you can customize a Hell of a lot more than previous games in the series, so that's a definite plus.
In the meantime, I'm still slowly making progress in FO4 when I can. I'm trying to think of how I wanna setup my main base. I decided I'm gonna use Vault 88 for it. I just dunno how I wanna set it up yet when I get to it.

Not to me. I have hundreds of games for PC, why would I need a handheld with a tiny screen?Saturn Celeste wrote:If you don't have a Switch, get one if you can! It's worth every penny!!

If it can't be played on a PC, it's not worth it for me :p

Re: Lurker's Lair
The Switch can be played while docked like a console. That's the entire point of it being called a Switch in the 1st place.
Didn't get much done today. Just made a bit of progress in FO4 before the lethargy started hitting hard and I've just not wanted to do anything much all day since then.

DA is right! You play it from your tv set! It's a huge screen! At least my tv screens are large lolololAmra wrote:Not to me. I have hundreds of games for PC, why would I need a handheld with a tiny screen?Saturn Celeste wrote:If you don't have a Switch, get one if you can! It's worth every penny!!

DA if you have a switch and get the money, do buy the game! We can play online together on each other's island! My island is TorqueIsle.

I don't have Nintendo's online subscription. My days of online play on the Switch ended with Splatoon 2 when that service went live. At the time it was the only game I played online at all, and the game was getting ridiculously finicky about a perfect connection making my overall experience degrade over time anyways, so there wasn't any point.
I forgot about naming towns and all. I gotta think of what I'd wanna call my island if I get it.

Re: Lurker's Lair
I stand corrected about screen size then. I'm just not interested in a cutesy-looking sims game. I am curious what you'll make of your island, though. I've been watching some gameplay videos to educate myself about the game, after all it's already hugely popular and I'm always curious about popular culture.Saturn Celeste wrote:DA is right! [edit] Here's a gameplay video showing off some fancy islands. Ignore the Korean titles, it's in English too.

I hope everyone is getting along with the workings of the site? I'm having a bit of trouble setting up my business section but I've been getting help from the host's forum. Next thing I need to learn how to set up is the RPG! I've made a section that we can talk about what we might want to do. I do have dice rolling in this forum also so we can set up dice rolls.

I'm having issues with my TW2:Shattered Embrace game -- it keeps crashing at the same point in the story. I just can't bypass it. It's weird, because I have played far past this point once before. I just haven't kept any saves from that time

I find it a little weird that all our avatars have shifted to the right side. That's gonna take some getting used to.

I was just gonna say. I prefer to have them on the left myself, since everything we write starts on the left so that's where I'm more likely to look.Darkened Angel wrote:I find it a little weird that all our avatars have shifted to the right side. That's gonna take some getting used to.

It looks like this is gonna be another terrible week for sinus allergies and other crap.
With how things have been for so long now, I'd be happy to have a year-long winter to make up for all of it.
