I've been playing a lot, and I mean a goddamn lot, of this game this past week. Just found this cow on the roof of a house in Horndean (one of the 7 villages in the game) Reminds you of Roach from the Witcher, doesn't it.

Well there's no belltower yet, what else is the cow going to use for lookout.

The villagers were actually contructing the belltower at the time. It's off the screen to the left, near the village hall. 
I think that house is one I placed the construction for. The villagers will complete the construction once all resources are brought to the site. Cow was probaly walking through the construction site when the finished house popped into the world and thus ended up on the roof.
