I've been having issues with my Skyrim. So, I installed the special edition, but I can't get the damned SkyUI to work. It deactivates all the time and doesn't stay in it's designated load order position. Don't know what to do.

A lot of things everywhere have been acting weird lately. Could be all connected to a recent update to something maybe. Whatever it is, I hope it gets fixed soon.

I'm back over a million bells, and since there's no loan to pay off anymore, that means I'm a bonafide millionaire. I still need to get back to designing my island, but I haven't had the time lately. I've just been getting daily things done and that's about it.

You have done an amazing job, DA! How long do you think you might continue to play the game? There is another big update coming in August from what I hear.

No idea. I don't plan on stopping any time soon though. I still got a lot of things to do and I'm not really doing it with any real speed. I haven't made any island designer progress still.

I keep waking up either stopped up, with a headache, both, or otherwise feeling slightly sick. This seasonal change sucks.

It took four weeks but I finally posted an update in my Skyrim thread again. I decided against adding mods for now, at least until I get back from Solstheim. That way I can better judge the effect the mods will have on the look of Skyrim once I implement them. There's no hurry, I can wait a little longer.

I've been getting several reactions and other gifts from them. I'm also getting random mail every day from one of them.

I had Rex but I ousted him for Kyle. I already have Egbert and he is a lazy villager, I only needed on villager to talk to the bugs on his floor!! If Zell is the zebra, I really want that one too in another reset. I like a few of the horses! And elephants. I have a 'dream' list for villagers for the next island I do. Embarassed

There's ways you can manipulate who you have on your island, but it requires some work. There's probably a guide on it somewhere.

I find it kinda funny when Octavian makes comments about his aching bones. He's an octopus.

I've also been getting back into Assassin's Creed Odyssey lately. I've maxed out the progress on weapon damage engravings from using each type except for spears, and I have Athena's Spear and Poseidon's Trident, and I plan on sticking with spears from here on out. Being able to stab an enemy that tries to jump back but doesn't get outta reach is nice. I'm also working on doing bounties and war contracts to get the ranged resistance engraving maxed out. I have an idea for what I wanna do for my endgame setup.

Got some stuff from the fireworks thing. At least a few of 'em aren't one use items. I kinda wish there was an everlasting fireworks though. Then again, I still want unbreakable tools. At this point, replacing them is just tedious.

I've also made some progress with things in ancient Greece. I'm closer to the next tier on an engraving, and I've gotten all the weapon types maxed.

Interesting stuff...

I was having lunch and on the milk carton I read about blueberries. You know there's two types, the European type that grows on small shubs on the ground and have small berries and the big berry ones that grow on bushes and come from America. In English, Blueberry refers to the big berry kind and the small European berries are called Bilberry. In Europe we call those blueberry.
The fun part is that this immediately got me remembering something from the Witcher 3. Remember that guy who pesters Geralt and wants to fight 100 knights in the name of Maid Bilberry? It's quite clear he's the father of the girl, named Bilberry, whose death was announced on the notice boards in Velen. Never knew her name came from those berries - until today when I read the back of that milk carton.

AC Odyssey has a reference to Queen in it. There's a heavy blunt weapon called Boeotian Rhapsody. Its description is, " Feels like real life. Handles like fantasy. "

I definitely favor the spears though. There's just something satisfying about landing a finishing blow with the end of a combo on a heavy attack. It's also slightly comical when the killing animation involves having to kick them off of the spear or pull it out the other end because of over piercing them bad enough. Besides, there's no kill like overkill.
